With COVID-19 impacting small businesses all over the world, they need support more than ever. This gift guide features small businesses, some owned by Meredith students, and will hopefully not only aid you in your holiday gift search, but also these small businesses during the holiday season.

Looking to have a cute photo session? Look no further than Naomi Alexis Photo. We all love to feel like a celebrity at a photoshoot sometimes, and this is the perfect way to create that feeling. She also plans to hold professional Christmas tree farm mini sessions in December in the Raleigh area.


Pricing:

Mini Sessions: 10-minute session for $15 (5-10 edited photos)

Regular Sessions: 20-minute session for $50 (10-15 edited photos)

*Prices change with longer sessions

Candles: Madame Flowers (NC Candles)

Avid lovers of all things good-smelling, rejoice! Madame Flowers sells scented candles and soaps. This includes her special NC city-inspired candles, including Raleigh! Madame Flowers is also a proud female and black-owned business. If you or someone you know is in the market for great candles, Madame Flowers has what you need!

Pottery: Porch Dog Pots

Porch Dog Pots offers uniquely designed pottery. They carry mugs, ice cream bowls, plant pots and so much more. The company is based out of Garner, NC, and their items can be shipped, but they can do local pick-up as well. This would be a perfect gift for the artsy and abstract person in your life.
