Hillsborough Street Food Walk

This summer the Hillsborough Street District is hosting four-dollar food walks on five Wednesdays from June until August. The walks include food from restaurants, drinks from bars, live music and a scavenger hunt. The next date for the walk is June 22.

During the walk, restaurants and bars will be offering four-dollar small plate offerings to introduce locals to the range of food and beverage Hillsborough Street District merchants have to offer. Participating merchants range along the blocks from Meredith College to the Green Monkey.

The event will also be held again on July 6 and 20 and August 3. There are also multiple performers between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. that change with each event as well as a scavenger hunt everyone can participate in. The scavenger hunt that could win participants a ‘Hillsborough Street Dollars’ card to redeem at multiple businesses within the district.

Participating merchants span across a three-mile radius from Beryl Street to Morgan Street. To reach as many spots as possible, one can walk or utilize the array of public transport, including the GoRaleigh Bus System, Cardinal BikeShare or the different electric scooter options.
