Oct. 19: Volleyball game against Salem College
The volleyball team won their game against Salem College with a final score of 3-0. Senior Avery Bowman had 21 total attempts, nine kills, three digs, one block solo and three block assists. Senior Whitney Bolton had 21 total attempts and nine kills. Hailey Long had 16 total attempts, seven kills, three digs and two block assists. Lauren Bissette had 11 total attempts, six kills, one block solo and two block assists. Freshman Martin-Maine Wrangell had nine total attempts, four kills and three digs. Freshman Madelyn Clark had six total attempts, one kill and one dig. Freshman Ali Polidori had six total attempts and one kill. Freshman Sara Dees had four total attempts, one kill and three digs. Freshman Mac Stafford had four total attempts, one kill, one dig and one block assist. Senior Bailey Lucas had three total attempts and six digs. Freshman Emily Emerson had two total attempts and six digs. Freshman Chloe Cochran had two total attempts. Hannah Jo Jablonski had one total attempt and seven digs. Senior Lauren Phillips had 22 digs.
Oct. 20: Soccer game against Methodist University
The soccer team lost their game against Methodist University with a final score of 1-2. Senior Miranda Lutz was the goalie for this game and had nine shots on goal and seven saves. Freshman Meredith Warrick scored one goal, had two shots and one shot on goal. Claire-Emma Britt had two shots and one shot on goal. Freshman Lillian Bennett had one shot and one shot on goal. Morgan Thomas, Madeline Ostrowski and Abby Black all had one shot each.
Oct. 21: Field hockey game against Southern Virginia University
The field hockey team won their first game of the season with a score of 1-0. Freshman Shae-Lynn Henderson was the goalie for this game and had nine saves. Senior Hannah Taib scored the winning goal, with two shots and two shots on goal. Bella Allen had two shots and two shots on goal. Emilee Wolfe had two shots and one shot on goal. Senior Naiylah Harris and freshman MiRonda Swepson had one shot each. The next field hockey game is scheduled for Oct. 24 against Sweet Briar College.

Hailey Long had 16 total attempts, seven kills and two block assists. Lauren Bissette had 15 total attempts, six kills and three block assists. Sara Dees had ten total attempts, seven kills and four digs. Madelyn Clark had nine total attempts, one kill, two digs and one block assist. Lauren Phillips had one total attempt and 17 digs. Emily Emerson had five digs. Hannah Jo Jablonski had four digs. Senior Kenzie Moore had two digs. Bailey Lucas had two digs.

Hailey Long had 11 total attempts, eight kills, one dig and two block assists. Sara Dees had 11 total attempts, four kills, four digs, two block solos and three block assists. Madelyn Clark had ten total attempts and five kills. Bailey Lucas had two total attempts and seven digs. Lauren Phillips had one total attempt and 12 digs. Emily Emerson had one total attempt and ten digs. Hannah Jo Jablonski had five digs. Volleyball’s next game is on Oct. 26 against William Peace University.
