Welcome Back!

The Herald is back! Welcome back to another year of The Herald, and if you are just joining us, we are excited to have you on board. The Herald has a lot of exciting changes and we are filled with anticipation to bring these changes to the Meredith community and beyond.

With the first week of classes behind us, it is time to catch up on all things that happened over the summer and share what is to come this semester. The Herald strives to continue to bring the Meredith community accurate, up-to-date and relevant stories across Features, News, Arts & Entertainment as well as Opinion. That being said, The Herald would like to hear from you too, and there are many ways for you to engage with The Herald this year:

Print and Online Editions:

Our print editions will come out biweekly on Fridays with our first print edition being distributed on September 13. Print editions can be found across campus in our designated red boxes as well as the different campus buildings. Our weekly online articles will begin publishing on September 2 and show up on our Instagram and website every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Social Media:

Our media team is hard at work to create fun and meaningful content for the campus to engage in. Keep an eye out on our social media for “Get to Know the Team” videos, weekly roundups, and opportunities for students to engage with these content creators by answering some questions. The Herald is also collaborating with our Angels After Hours Podcast team.

Campus Spotlights:

This year, in each of our print editions, The Herald is dedicated to spotlighting different campus organizations. This provides the Meredith community an opportunity to engage with and get to know teams across campus and the work they are doing. Organizations can also reach out to express their interest in being spotlighted.

With a busy and eventful year to come, be sure to stay up to date with all things happening. You can follow our Instagram, find our website or look out for our print editions across campus.
