What to Expect From AAH This February

Destiny Calvin

The Meredith Herald’s Angels After Hours (AAH) podcast has planned their episodes for the February 2025 season! The podcast was introduced in 2022 by Co-Podcasting Directors Destiny Calvin, ‘25 and Grayson Morris, ‘26. Based on the interests of the current team, Angels After Hours is a pop culture and society podcast, with episodes that come out every Friday.

February 7th

Ep. 32. “What the Fizz?” is hosted by Cady Stanley, ‘25, Grayson Morris, ‘26 and Odie O’Daniel, ‘25. These hosts talk about the platform that’s taking over Meredith conversations, Fizz. They will discuss what Fizz is, what’s popular about it, and how our campus has reacted to it.

February 14th

Ep. 33. Advice #8: “A Letter to Meredith Seniors” will be hosted by Destiny Calvin,’25, Shae-Lynn Henderson, ‘25 and Cady Stanley, ‘25. As seniors, the idea is to give a hopeful and uplifting message to all of the seniors.

February 21st

Ep. 34. “The Fall of Ryan Murphy” will be hosted by Destiny Calvin, ‘25 and Kailey Wurr, ‘26. With last year’s controversy about Ryan Murphy’s newest season of “Monsters”, this episode will deep dive into his career in an attempt to understand why his stories took a dark turn.

February 28th

Ep. 35. “The Complexity of Labels” will be hosted by Grayson Morris, ‘26 and Sophie Ezedin, ‘26. They will be discussing the pressures of labeling oneself to fit in and the idea of fitting oneself into a type, such examples being sexuality or gender, to name a few.
